Miura has won much acclaim for its technical prowess, including a wide variety of awards from the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers and other organizations for such innovations as increasing the output and efficiency of its equipment to provide more energy at a lower cost; for developing multiple boiler installation and automatic boiler control systems for reducing energy and labor inputs; for its network technology that uses telephone lines in maintenance; for its ultra-low NOx technology; and chemical-free air removal technology.

	Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers The Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME) was established to promote the advancement of mechanical engineering and industry. The JSME Award is one of the most prestigious in the machinery industry.
	The Japan Gas Association's Technology Award This prestigious award is given to natural gas companies that develop revolutionary new technologies. It is sometimes called the "Nobel Prize of the Natural Gas Industry."
