Corporate philosophy, Strategy and Activity

Strategy and Activity
  • To continue to evolve, the Miura Group is working to harness the synergy of the group through its "Best Partner Strategy," overseas projects, and maintenance services for specialized equipment, food processing equipment, and medical equipment.

Best Partner Strategy
  • The Miura Group provides advice not only on boiler products, but also on drain recycling, energy control equipment, and products for handling dioxin. In this way, Miura can better meet the total needs of its customers in the fields of thermal energy, water treatment, and environment.
One example is Miura's collaboration with the ESCO Project

Coordinating services with the ESCO Project
(1) Analyses and consulting for formulating energy-saving measures
(2) Planning, design, and execution for introducing these measures
(3) Measuring and verifying energy saving effects

(4) Maintenance and operational control of equipment, systems, etc.

(5) Securing capital for products

*ESCO is the acronym for Energy Service Company, a business which provides a wide range of equipment, technologies, human resources, capital and services to help facilities like office buildings, factories, etc., reduce energy consumption.

Overseas projects
  • As part of its drive to strengthen its base outside Japan, in fiscal 2004 Miura opened new overseas offices to enhance the synergy of the Group to take on projects in other countries.
Asia Region
  • The business model was horizontally developed in Japan , and the production, sales and maintenance systems were further strengthened.

North America Region
  • Sales facilities were opened in Atlanta and New York, and sales were expanded.
  • Cutting-edge environmental technology such as ultra-low NOX systems was brought into the region.
  • Much investment was made in personnel.

Maintenance for specialized equipment, food processing equipment, medical equipment, etc.
  • Utilizing the know-how and the maintenance network cultivated by boiler projects, efforts are being made to establish a maintenance system for specialized equipment, food processing equipment, medical equipment, etc.

Maintenance is necessary after a product is sold. This holds true whether the product is a boiler or something else. The maintenance of non-boiler products is still at the development stage.
