The "The Miura Institute of Environmental Science is devoted to the creation of self-regulating environment improving business for use inside and outside the corporation through the efficient use of environment related information and advanced analysis technology to tackle current and future environmental problems." Based on this doctrine, work is centered on technologies for measurement of environment contaminants, and processing technology and new products are developed.

Considered the core of the institute, a long expertise in the field allows easy access to highly accurate measurement analysis technology for infinitesimal quantities of environmental contaminants, as well as to related equipment and tools, for a highly accurate management system that provides highly reliable data to give quick and precise answers to the customer's needs.

Joint research with industry and government in the field of environmental technologies is carried out for the purpose of developing products that will contribute to the solution of pressing environmental problems, such as measurement technologies for infinitesimal quantities of environmental contaminants and hormone-disrupting chemicals, as well as the corresponding disposal and recycling technologies crucial in a resource recycling society.

Through planning-execution-report of environment surveys, proposal of environment strategy technologies, and the sale of equipment and tools for environmental analysis and of environment-related instruments, we aim toward the establishment of an open and trusted relationship with the customer.

Under designation by the Ministry of the Environment based on the "Soil Contamination Countermeasures Law" (enacted on February 15, 2003), and by ordinance of Osaka Prefecture, this corporation has been conducting research on soil contamination conditions as a designated research organization.
