The larger the amount of dissolved oxygen, the faster the advance of rust
Water at 15oC dissolves 9.76 ppm of oxygen. If temperature decreases, the amount of dissolved oxygen increases, and if temperature increases, the amount of dissolved oxygen decreases. Water boiled at 100oC does not contain dissolved oxygen.
"Z prezerver" effectively reduces to 1/20 the dissolved oxygen in regular water. In accordance, as indicated in the above graph, the advance of rust is significantly suppressed.
